In my own words
I am the only child of my parents, and even now I am very close to them. An extreme optimist for my mother and a pessimist for my father, I came to be a realist. With the Mars–Saturn mutual aspect on my 1–7 axis, I grew up a critical thinker who questioned everything and had a knack for solving geeky problems.
I rode the bandwagon of life: excelled in studies, landed a job in the booming tech industry, and was moved to the US in 2017. It was fortunate timing. I was beaming with the prospects of a new land and career growth, just like The Fool of the Tarot, and I had a breakup I was eager to leave behind. Touchdown US, and the unlearning began.
My first couple of years were all newness. So radically different in every way that I made more friends than an introvert has any business making, and had the most amazing memories with them. Then it phased out. As I approached my thirtieth year, my Saturn return, I moved to a new city for new work, alone this time, and started the unlearning over again.
The year everything turned inward
During my thirtieth year the whole world experienced the pandemic, and all-alone me became lonely me. I remember my one-year work anniversary in Atlanta: I sat at my desk working from home, sneezing, as smell and taste left my senses. A week later it was confirmed as an early sign of Covid. My Saturn return aspecting my Ascendant really played its number on my health, mind and spirit.
Amidst chest pain, painful sleepless nights and losing my most soul-filling pleasure of enjoying food, I found myself in an excruciating situation with horrible thoughts of dying in a foreign land, away from everyone I loved. Three visits to urgent care had been futile. The only thing left to control was my mind. So that is where I started, playing with my subconscious through meditation and breathing exercises. And praying.
“When you can’t go out, go within.” I saw that on Instagram and took it far too seriously.
I had been interested in astrology since my teens, so I had the perfect thing to feed a restless mind. I studied the astrological events behind past pandemics, and in the process discovered I was going through my first-ever Saturn return. Everything made sense after that. I started learning astrology as a means of self-discovery, only to find myself deeper and deeper in the realms of metaphysics, always yearning for more.
Once I tapped into my spiritual self and activated Ketu, the South Node, I was promptly handed a golden retriever puppy to babysit for a month. Ketu signifies dogs among animals. There was the partner I needed for my pain and healing. And I kept Saturn, significator of hard work, happy by giving two hundred percent at my job. Keep yourself busy.
From hobby to practice
As time passed I turned my spiritual hobbies into disciplined study and got certified in several sacred sciences. I practise numerology, Tarot guidance, crystal healing and Vedic astrology, and I dwell in the awe of the subconscious mind whenever my very busy conscious one allows. My current passions are Human Design and Palmistry. Never stop learning.
But the recap of my life looks so drastic that I kept questioning my existence and my purpose. That is when I went deep into pending karma analysis: what gifts and troubles are inherited from a past life, and what karma is still waiting to be fulfilled in this one.
Every chart I receive feels like an honour. I take your soul’s story seriously, and I pour genuine care into every reading I craft. I can’t wait to explore yours.
